DayaSagar Convent, Situated in the heart of the city of Amravati, is the realization of the long cherished dream of the late Bishop Joseph Rosario and the Priest of the Diocese of Amravati-to have  Christian presence through medical service. It had its beginning in a Bungalow called 'Hurricane Hall'and was inaugurated on 8th December 1985. A 6 bedded Hospital -DayaSagar Hospital - Was started in the same Bungalow on 1st January 1986- which has developed into a full-fledged hospital with specialties. 'Dayasasgar'stands as a constant source of 'Daya'not only to the patients but also to the people of the locality through its Holistic Healing Ministry. Besides, Sisters are extending their Medical services to a few sub centers and conducts free medical camps. Also Sisters are engaged in the training of Health workers. This Centre is also privileged to have the apostolate of Prison Ministry-De addiction programs and Pastoral Care
