To the vicinity of the famous Kurisumala Ashram, a plot of 11 acres was bought. The main intention was to have a building away from the township for meditation, contemplative prayer life and to conduct courses and seminars for the sisters. On 12th June 1968 the building was blessed and sisters started living there by July.
This house is known as the Prayer Bhavan of the province.
